Production

Golden Truffle imports the world’s finest truffle products from the beautiful Crotian Istria region to United Kingdom. By working directly with local supplier, Golden Truffle is able to ensure that its customers are receiving the freshest quality products year round. Since the truffle is available exclusively in certain months, a system of preservation of truffles was developed  in order to enable its availability throughout the year. Only chosen fresh ingredients are used in production. Both white and black truffles are preserved, whole, minced or shaved, alone or in various combinations, such as truffles with mushrooms or olives. Exclusively natural preservatives are used, such as olive oil and salt. Chosen ingredients and unique way of processing the raw material contribute to the unquestionable quality of over 50 types of different products.

Truffle supplier we are working with holds Guinness world record with  the largest truffle ever found, weighing 1.31 kg, listed as the largest in the world. Its truffle processing plant is a new modern building 1,600m2 in size, enabled a concentration of everything at one place. At this moment, the plant performs the processing of truffles with the addition of other agricultural products (olives, olive oil).

The factory is equipped with up-to-date machinery for manufacturing and packaging products. The factory annually processes between six and eight tons of truffles, and about 30% of total production is intended for export, while the rest is sold on the domestic market.
